On November 5th 2017, the Borough of Munhall and several special dignitaries wished Mayor Bodnar well wishes for his retirement. All were gathered at the Carnegie Library enjoying food, drinks and fellowship with Mayor and Jane Bodnar. Allegheny County, County Executive, Rich Fitzgerald, who has had a long standing working relationship with the Mayor, designated November 5th, 2017 as Mayor Raymond G. Bodnar Day.

October 17th – Preliminary budget to Council meeting has been cancelled
Munhall will be holding our 29th Annual Lite-Up Nite on Friday December 1st at 6:00pm. We will have carolers, music, and a visit from Santa. Plus we will be throwing the switch to turn on our Christmas display!
We will also be collecting any new gloves, socks, and hats for Gavins Memory Mittens being sponsored by the Steel Valley Student Council. And new or gently used coats and canned goods for the Rainbow Kitchen.
